I often feel a little lost in the huge amount of popular music we have access to.

Was the 1980’s a great or a terrible decade for music? Were the Sex Pistols a mere marketing scheme or geniuses who changed the face of music? And if the Velvet Underground were so great, why can’t I find any of their records in my mum’s old collection?

With this blog I’d like to share with you some great music documentaries that take time to tell in detail the story of what really happened.

NB: I consider these documentaries to be truly amazing and by making them easily available I’m only looking to serve the general interest. My goal is not to steal the work of others or to infringe copyright. I always mention the authors and most of these pieces have already been broadcasted many times on public radios.
